Writer/director Jeff Baena's darkly comedic thriller HORSE GIRL will be screening at the Sundance Film Festival on January 27th, but those of us who can't make it to Sundance won't have to wait very long to see it for ourselves – the movie will be reaching the Netflix streaming service on February 7th.

A couple weeks out from the film's streaming debut, Netflix has released a trailer online and we have it embedded below.

Starring Alison Brie, HORSE GIRL will show us what happens when

a socially awkward woman with a fondness for arts and crafts, horses, and supernatural crime shows finds her increasingly lucid dreams trickling into her waking life.

The cast also includes Debby Ryan, Paul Reiser, Molly Shannon, Matthew Gray Gubler, Robin Tunney, John Ortiz, Dylan Gelula, Meredith Hagner, Toby Huss, Angela Trimbur, and David Paymer.

I'm a fan of Baena's 2014 directorial debut LIFE AFTER BETH and HORSE GIRL looks fascinating to me, so I will definitely be checking this one out.
