No, this isn’t an update on the rumored AMERICAN PSYCHO musical that will inevitably star Hugh Jackman. Rather it’s a new music video from impersonator extraordinaire Miles Fisher. You may remember him as Tom Cruise during one of the only funny moments of SUPERHERO MOVIE, where he parodies Cruise’s infamous Scientology video to perfection.
This time he’s covering The Talking Heads’ This Must Be the Place (a track off his new album), and he’s set it to the backdrop of AMERICAN PSYCHO. Say what you will about the pop-ificiation of the song, but the video is undeniably excellent. I can’t get over how much he looks like Bale, and he has all of the Patrick Bateman mannerisms down to a tee.
The video features all of the best scenes from the film, including the business card exchange, the splitting of Paul Allen’s head and of course, the infamous mirror-flexing three-way, which makes this video just a teensy bit NSFW.
