Since the brief Super Bowl spot, we’ve been anxiously awaiting more of Chris Evans’ U.S. Grade-A beef in a full trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, and it’s finally here in star-spangled glory.
Marvel’s patriotic Super Soldier helps defeat WWII-era evil this July 22nd, with a vibe decidedly reminiscent of THE ROCKETEER (appropriately, since it’s from the same director Joe Johnston). That skinny Evans effect is nearly as convincing as it is unnerving, and overall the movie looks like a big fun action-adventure with no shortage of nods and links to the greater Marvel movie Universe (hello, Howard Stark!).
