American Horror Story: Ryan Murphy teases potential future stories

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Currently in production, the tenth season of the FX anthology series American Horror Story is titled American Horror Story: Double Feature, as it's going to be telling

two horrifying stories, one by the sea… the other by the sand.

While many fans have already come to the conclusion that one of the Double Feature stories is going to involve "Sirens", the second half of the season remains a mystery. But maybe there's a clue in the image the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy recently posted on Instagram. With this image, Murphy teased six potential American Horror Story subjects: Aliens, Xmas Horror, Bloody Mary, Sirens, Piggy Man, and Plague. He asked his followers to comment saying which story they would most like to see.

Of course, the response has been very split. Actor Brandon Flynn, who worked with Murphy on Ratched, put in a vote for "Aliens". Gwyneth Paltrow, who is married to American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk, commented "Obviously Piggy Man". Lily Rabe (who is in the Double Feature cast) wants to see "Sirens", as does American Horror Story alum Emma Roberts, while Bella Thorne is keen on "Xmas Horror".

If Sirens is already part of season 10, the stories I would be most interested in after that are Xmas Horror and Piggy Man.

American Horror Story: Double Feature stars Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Macaulay Culkin, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, and Kaia Gerber.

Murphy has said that Culkin will be playing an "insane part" that involves having "crazy, erotic sex with Kathy Bates". Paulson teased that her character "has some issues" and sports a hair color that has never been on Paulson's head before.

American Horror Story: Double Feature will begin airing on FX later in 2021.
