Hot off the success of IT ($630 million worldwide and counting!), Andy Muschietti is keeping things in the family with his follow-up, a TV show based on Joe Hill's LOCKE & KEY graphic novel series. It was previously announced that Muschietti had enlisted IT kids Jackson Robert Scott (Georgie Denbrough), and Megan Charpentier (Gretta) to be in the show, and now he's turning to yet another young thespian from his hit film to join his latest venture.

Owen Teague, who played doomed bully Patrick Hockstetter ("I hear ya, tits!") in the IT adaptation, will be playing an even more unsavory sort in LOCKE & KEY. This time he'll be tackling the role of Sam Lesser, “a violent and deeply troubled adolescent who kills his father and then goes to the Locke house and shoots the Locke kids’ father to death, in addition to battering their mother.”

Sounds like a real charmer!

LOCKE & KEY follows a trio of siblings who

move to their ancestral home in Maine with their mother Nina only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. Little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them.

In addition to Teague, Charpentier and Scott, LOCKE & KEY stars Frances O'Connor, Danny Glover, Jack Mulhern and Nate Corddry. It will air on Hulu in 2018 with Carlton Cuse (Bates Motel) acting as showrunner.
