Animaniacs: Interviews with Pinky and the Brain actors Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche

Animaniacs originally premiered in 1993 and became a massive hit for Warner Bros and producer Steven Spielberg. After introducing the world to Yakko, Wakko, and Dot as well as the legendary Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs went off the air after five seasons of wacky satire and pop culture hilarity. Last year, Hulu resurrected the series for a new iteration that brought back the classic animation style along with the original voice cast. Not much has changed aside from the pop culture references being updated for the 21st century.

With season two debuting this week, I got the chance to sit down with Pinky and the Brain themselves, Rob Paulsen, and Maurice LaMarche. These two actors have appeared in countless shows over the years, including Rick and Morty amongst others, and loved to talk about bringing back these two scheming lab rats. We also got a chance to talk about one of the all-time greatest moments in Animaniacs history, the “Frozen Peas” segment. Check out the interview in the embed above.

Season 2 of Animaniacs premieres on November 5th on Hulu.
