Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake introduce the latest trailer for Trolls

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

TROLLS marks the latest in animated films looking to bring to life our toys from yesteryear. This time around, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake lend their vocal stylings to Troll dolls. As the story goes, Poppy (Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious curmudgeonly Branch (Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue all of her Troll friends. Will there be musical numbers and an understanding reached? You betcha! Check out that and more in this new trailer, if you dare!

Admittedly, I’m pretty quick to write off most family films (even the ones folks say are good), so I can’t say that TROLLS does anything for me. That says a lot, considering that Kendrick and Timberlake are two very talented and very charismatic actors! I’m willing to admit that I’m probably not the audience this movie was built for, so we’ll see in a few months’ time if that audience exists! In the meantime, if you’re feeling really brave, Trollify yourself!

TROLLS opens in theaters on November 4, 2016.
