Another Happ’n poster

Monday we caught a glimpse of a new poster for THE HAPPENING, featuring a bunch of bodies lying around lifeless… except for Marky Mark and Zooey Deschanel (check that beauty of a poster HERE). Today a new poster has surfaced for the flick, and what can I say… the marketing folks behind THE HAPPENING seem to really be on their game!

The international posters for this beast are partying like it’s 1999, I only wish they’d push this kind of marketing genius here in the States, as the consensus thus far is that M. Night Shyamalan is gonna screw the pooch again with this one. But I have hope! The trailers have been solid (check out the red band trailer HERE), the premise sounds cool (what little we know of it so far), and the fact that it’s rated R gives this sucker all kinds of uber-cool potential.

My only problem with the above poster? The font color of the tag line and the color of the poster the tag line is on is almost the same, making it somewhat difficult to read. Sure, ti’s simply a design flaw… but it’s a poster! Design is a big part of it!
