Another Resident Evil?

MTV Movies Blog caught up with world renowned director Paul W.S. Anderson who dropped a few lines about a project that may be getting off the ground sooner than you’d think: RESIDENT EVIL 4.

The RESIDENT EVIL director told MTV that he was just starting to talk to Sony about it… I don’t even know if anything will come of it, but there’s a possibility it might happen.

With three other movies in the series making Sony a buttload of money, I’d say something will most definitely come out of it! But is the world ready, or even willing, to go yet another round with Milla Jovovich and her fight against zombies and the Umbrella Corporation?

Truth be told, I haven’t check out RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, mostly because RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE didn’t really float my boat, and because Anderson is quite possibly one of my least favorite directors of all time. So a fourth venture in the series directed by Anderson? Meh… count me out.

Here’s a good reason for another RESIDENT EVIL movie…
