Just the other day we hit you all with some BLACK SWAN set photos. While they weren’t exactly action packed we did get to see Natalie Portman… and that’s always a good thing! Want to know another good thing? Kristina Anapau has just joined the cast of BLACK SWAN!
This is according to the guys over at Moviehole, who say the actress will be playing “Russian dancer Galina, a soloist in the ballet company who’s fiercely competing with Portman’s character, Nina, for the lead role in Swan Lake.” Hot damn… Could this movie get any better? Mind you Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis are two of my favorite females in the entire industry, both in talent and hottness. Now notice I’ve opted to put two shots of Anapau in this article instead of having her split time with one of the other ladies. Yeah Anapau is hot! How are these three women going to star in one film together? And a Darren Aronofsky film at that! It’s an understatement to say I’m stoked for this one.
Anapau joins Portman, Kunis, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey and Vincent Cassel in the supernatural thriller that follows a veteran ballerina who finds herself locked in a competitive situation with a rival dancer, with the stakes and twists increasing as the dancers approach a big performance. But it’s unclear whether the rival is a supernatural apparition or if the protagonist is simply having delusions. While Portman is playing the lead role it’s uncertain as to what role Kunis will be playing. It was previously reported she’d be playing the rival dancer but Anapau’s casting put’s a question mark on that. Could Kunis be the apparition or another rival? Time will tell!
