Another torturous photo surfaces from Kevin Greutert’s SAW 3D!

You know, this past week of news has been fraught with all kinds of weird re-cycles, quick follow-ups and immediate overlays. As soon as we report a story on one flick, another piece of news regarding the same flick will invariably pop up. I’m blaming Comic-Con, where goodies are dispensed in small doses, not all at once…so it’s not out of the question that we write two articles about one flick in as many hours. And such is certainly the case, my friends, with SAW 3D!

Earlier today, we not only made eyes with the first official trailer for the flick, we also learned that SAW 3D is more than likely going to be the final installment in the relatively long-lived franchise. I still find that dubious, as 3D ticket returns have yet to show how fertile the pickings will continue to be. If it does massively well, my guess is we’ll see a second 3D SAW flick. But that’s just me.

Either way, it seems Lionsgate has issued another gnarly still from Kevin Greutert’s version, and we’ve pasted that shite underneath for your viewing pleasure. Get low and let us know how it fares!

Written by franchise mainstays Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunston, SAW 3D gets going:

As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror.

Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Sean Patrick Flanery, Betsy Russell (below), Costas Mandylor, Gina Holden, Tanedra Howard, Chad Donella, Joris Jarsky, Dean Armstrong and James Van Patten all star in the picture.

SAW 3D buzzes into theaters October 22nd!
