Aquarium of the Dead: trailer released for The Asylum’s Zoombies spin-off

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The "zombie animal" universe The Asylum and director Glenn Miller established with the films Zoombies (watch it HERE) and Zoombies 2 (check that out HERE) is set to expand with the May 21st DVD release of Aquarium of the Dead, and in anticipation of this event we've gotten our hands on the film's trailer, which can be seen above!

Directed by Miller from a screenplay by Marc Gottlieb and Michael Varrati, Aquarium of the Dead is about

a scientific accident that turns aquatic creatures into zombies.

You probably already figured that out from the title.

Produced by The Asylum's David Michael Latt and co-produced by Paul Bales, the film stars Vivica A. Fox, D.C. Douglas, Erica Duke, Eva Ceja, Anthony Jensen, Anna Telfer, Jeffery Thomas Johnson, and Rishi Arya.

I was sold on Aquarium of the Dead as soon as I saw an image of a zombie walrus. I'm in! Problem is, I haven't seen Zoombies or Zoombies 2 yet. At least I have a couple months to catch up on them.
