Arizona gets the message

For those Arizona residents hurt by the fact that they won’t be seeing THE ROOST premiere this Friday, here’s something to make up for it.

Writer Charles Hall sent us news that THE MESSENGERS, which won a couple of awards this past year (Outstanding Achievement Award from VisionFest, Best Screenplay from the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival) and was directed by Philip Farha, will be screening this weekend at the Centerpoint Theatre (screen 3, to be exact). Times are listed below, along with links to grab the tickets.

The film is presented by WorkShop Entertainment and stars Michele Hicks as Dr. Sarah Chapel, who arrives in a small fishing village to bury her father, and quickly realizes something bad is going down. Her father’s patients are panicking, sure that no one else will understand their problems and their need for large doses of stimulants. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she uncovers her father’s interest in the paranormal and starts to piece together the frightening truth behind the voices that haunt the townspeople.
