So this is cool! It seems Scream! Factory is going to be putting out a 4K UHD restoration Blu-ray for Sam Raimi's cult class horror-comedy ARMY OF DARKNESS, the third film in the EVIL DEAD franchise starring the great Bruce Campbell!
Here's Scream! Factory's official Twitter account confirming the report:
Well cat’s out of the bag! ???? This wasn’t supposed to be revealed quite this way but yes, we’re working on it but we have no additional details as to when we’ll officially announce, when it will release or specifics on the release. Stay tuned!

They also reveal that, "We [Scream! Factory] will be doing ARMY OF DARKNESS early next year, which will be the first title we have done from scratch", since there's no other 4K transfer for the film as of yet, so they'll be doing the restoration themselves.
No other information at this time, but we'll keep you posted if anything else comes up, including special features and release dates!
