It's not often that Ash Williams, hero of the EVIL DEAD franchise, gets to have a really good time. He's usually pretty busy having to battle demonic forces and dismember the corpses of the possessed "Deadites". The first image from the second season of the Ash vs. Evil Dead television series gives a glimpse of Ash in one of those all-too-rare moments when he can put aside his worries and just let loose. And of course Ash's idea of a good time would be a tiki party kegger where he entertains his fellow partiers by using his chainsaw prosthetic on a keg.
I'm sure the fun isn't going to last, and that Ash will be using his chainsaw on a Deadite and getting soaked with gore soon enough.
As you can see in the image, Bruce Campbell is, of course, reprising the iconic role of Ash for the second season. Also returning from the first season are Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo as Ash's sidekicks Pablo and Kelly (pictured above), and Lucy Lawless as Ruby. Joining them will be Lee Majors as Ash's father, Ted Raimi as his childhood best friend, and Michelle Hurd as his high school sweetheart.

Ash has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead until a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and Ash becomes mankind's only hope.
Season two will premiere on Starz this fall.
