Awesome trailer for bloody UK horror romp Inbred

Even though we’ve seen plenty of inbred horror in our time, there’s still reason to get excited for Alex Chandon’s fittingly titled INBRED – reason #1 being the trailer that premiered over at Twitch earlier today. The flick looks like a demented, thoroughly f*cked-up splatterfest; maybe its villains aren’t anything we haven’t seen before, but their methods of mayhem sure seem a bit unique.

The plot shakedown:
A disparate group of young urban offenders and their care workers embark on a community service weekend in the strange, remote Yorkshire village of Mortlake, which prides on keeping itself to itself. A minor incident with some local inbred youths rapidly escalates into a blood-soaked, deliriously warped nightmare for all involved.

Chandon’s movie was an official selection at last year’s Sitges Film Festival and UK Frightfest; hopefully it’s making its way across the globe soon so we can all revel in its nastiness.

INBRED stars Jo Hartley, Seamus O’Neill, James Doherty, James Burrows, Neil Leiper, Chris Walker, Nadine Rose Mulkerrin, Terry Haywood and Mark Rathbone.
