Babylon teases

Just a few days ago The Arrow gave us all a detailed look at the upcoming BABYLON A.D.. We saw a load of stills and a pretty sweet promo reel.

Well today we’ve got a couple more sweet ass updates for BABYLON A.D.. First up we have the new (f*cking badass) international poster from VinDieselGallery. Scope out a hint of it above, click the cloaked Diesel for a look at the whole thing.

I’m definately digging this poster. Like the newest DARK KNIGHT banner, it’s just awesome visually. That poster alone has me more stoked for BABYLON A.D. than anything else I’ve seen thus far.

Next up we’ve got a pretty sweet teaser trailer/clip from Allocine. It’s even got an intro by director Mathieu Kassovitz. Unfortunately the intro is in French, but the trailer still kicks ass. Click on over here to check that out.

BABYLON A.D. sees the return of Vin Diesel to the action/sci-fi scene and is about a mercenary who’s hired to deliver a package i.e. a young dame who has an organism within her that a Cult wants in the name of creating a genetic Messiah. Gold.

As stated, it’s directed by Mathieu Kassovitz and stars Vin Diesel. It’s penned by Mathieu Kassovitz and Joseph Simas, with Eric Besnard scoring a writing credit, all of which is based off the novel by Maurice G. Dantec. It also stars Michelle Yeoh, Mélanie Thierry (below), Gérard Depardieu, Charlotte Rampling, Lambert Wilson, and Mark Strong.

BABYLON A.D. hits theaters this summer, August 29.
