Tom Shankland’s THE CHILDREN is a flick we’ve been keeping tabs on here at AITH. Why? Well simply put… the movie looks f*cking twisted! That and we have a sworn duty to bring all you faithful readers updates on our beloved genre. But mainly the twisted thing.
Now the last update came way back in November and we haven’t heard jack since then. Well that changes today with an awesome clip coming in from Empire. If the tone of this clip is what we can expect from the flick… I think we may be looking at a pretty epic movie. Just go ahead and click HERE to check out the vicious clip. Everything about it is spot on and has me fidgeting in anticipation. Those kids are f*cking twisted!
THE CHILDREN is about a relaxing Christmas vacation that turns into a terrifying fight for survival as the children begin to turn on their parents. Simple enough yet pretty original. It doesn’t seem like there’s any cult involved so we’re not looking at a CHILDREN OF THE CORN ripoff. This one is ripe baby! It’s actually hitting DVD at the end of the month over in the UK, so for our readers across the pond be sure to check your local DVD outlet on March 30. As for us here in the US… no word on a release date yet! For shame. We will definitely be keeping you updated as we hear more!
