I have to hand it to THE DARK KNIGHT’s legions of fans — they seem cheerfully accepting (if not overly protective) of the film’s flaws, most notably Christian Bale’s masked impersonation of Cookie Monster.
But hey, maybe I’m just too critical. After all, perhaps that over-the-top cowl growl has some practical applications even beyond threatening/slobbering on criminals, into other lines of business. Maybe?
Maybe not… Attack of the Show ponders the possibilities.
