Battle of the 4

Variety reports this morning that Intrepid Pictures just acquired the rights to the supernatural thriller THE FOURTH HORSEMAN from writers Marshall Uzzle and Perry Fair. If you like your thrillers dabbling with priests, the apocalypse, and the end of time as we know it, then this flick may just be for you!

Intrepid has already brought on a pair of new writers to rewrite the script (F. Paul Benz and Steve Tomlin), and I’m not quite sure if that’s a good- or bad sign, seeing as they just picked this bad boy up. So what the flock is it about? Check it: [HORSEMAN] centers on a young priest’s battle to thwart the rise of the fourth horseman of the apocalypse, when three of the horsemen — War, Pestilence and Famine — await the birth of their fourth brother so they can fulfill their destiny and bring about the end of times.

Sounds like, totally epic, man. I’m so there! Other tidbits about Intrepid that helps me sleep at night about this project is that they are the ones who helped produced the awesome looking THE STRANGERS, and will be releasing Neil Marshall’s DOOMSDAY later this year. With taste like that, how can this suck?

Stick around for more on THE FOURTH HORSEMAN as we hear it!
