Bay vs Paramount?

JoBloJoBlo

Apparently, Michael Bay has not been pleased about the way that Paramount has been doing publicity for TRANSFORMERS 2, and has complained via letter. Back in May, he complained to Paramount head Brad Grey that “… I have been waiting, and waiting for the anticipation of an ‘event movie’ to make it in the public zeitgeist”

He called the print campaign an “abject failure” in the LA Times, and was not happy about how it was shown at the MTV Movie Awards recently. He also namedrops Jerry Bruckheimer, citing some advice he was once given by the legendary producer — “a studio that does not make the [opening of a movie] an event… will get bitten in the ass.”

On June 6th however, Bay changed his mind and sent an email to Grey thanking them for “busting the butts”. Click HERE to check out the letters.
