We’ve seen a few images of the Akiva Schaffer (HOT ROD) directed NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Jonah Hill and now we have a teaser to give us a peek at what’s in store.

Take a stroll:

The synopsis is pretty simple for a high-concept comedy:

Suburban dads form a neighborhood watch group to get time away from their families, only to discover a plot to destroy Earth.

The pic is written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the team behind SUPERBAD, and has a great comedic cast, which also includes Billy Crudup, Doug Jones, Richard Ayoade, Will Forte, and Rosemarie DeWitt. Looks like a lot of fun to me. Putting these guys in a film together, let alone a room, is a pretty damn good recipe for some great comedy.

We’ll find out when the neighborhood invasion begins on July 27, 2012.
