Fans of Zack Galifianakis’ Funny or Die bit Between Two Ferns are in for a real treat. Scott Aukerman, who directed most episodes of the “show” for Funny or Die, announced on his “Comedy Bang Bang” podcast that Comedy Central will air a Between Two Ferns special on May 6 before the Comedy Awards, entitled Between Two Ferns: A Fairytale of New York.

The half-hour show will feature Zack Galifianakis interviewing guests Tina Fey, Jon Stewart, and Richard Branson in his typical style of the show, which basically is an exercise in hilarious awkwardness.  Past episodes have included guests like Ben Stiller, Bruce Willis, Natalie Portman, Jon Hamm, and a bevy of other A-list stars.

I discovered this web series a while back and it has me rolling every time.  It’s kind of a perfect venue for Galifianakis’ comedic voice.  If you’ve never seen it, don’t worry: I’ve got a few “best-of’s” embedded below for your enjoyment.
