Tomorrow will bring the world premiere of the new Black Adam trailer, but while we wait, Dwayne Johnson has released a new poster for the much-anticipated movie. Check that out below!
Like most blockbusters, Black Adam was recently undergoing a few reshoots, but Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter earlier today to announce that the finishing touches are finally complete and the film has wrapped. While we’ve seen plenty of images and a little bit of footage from Black Adam, I can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s trailer will bring. Black Adam has been a long time coming, but hopefully, the extra delay will be worth it. Producer Hiram Garcia said that “there was a huge and understandable freeze-up when the pandemic hit and a lot of productions were put on hold. Now that the industry has really roared back, the pipeline for VFX is so jammed. Obviously all these superhero movies just require so much VFX, and we’re just in a situation where the majority of the VFX houses are just completely swamped with work.” Dwayne Johnson shared a new trailer for Black Adam at CinemaCon earlier this year that got audiences pumped and even recorded audio of the audience screaming to be used for a battle scene in the film.
In addition to Dwayne Johnson, Black Adam is also set to introduce the Justice Society as Noah Centineo is onboard to play Atom Smasher, with Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate. Black Adam will be released on October 21, 2022.
