Today a casting list popped up over at Backstage.com for a flick filming in Glasgow, Scotland called THE BLAIR WITCH REMAKE. …. Well that’s straight to the point. Mind you this doesn’t seem to be an official remake considering there’s been no word on this until now.
THE BLAIR WITCH REMAKE comes from producer Bob Greensworth and director Stacy Hopkins. It’s set to start filming next month in Glasgow. Here’s the casting list from Backstage:
Dennis Hither: 22-38, an experienced filmmaker, LEAD.
Michael Adams: 22-44, supporting.
Donald Walker: 22-38, an experienced filmmaker.
Allison James: 21-35, Michael’s girlfriend.
Alright then. Apparently the flick will follow a group of filmmakers who venture into the woods to make a movie about a local legend. That’s all we’ve got. Intriguing no? Hopefully we’ll get more info on THE BLAIR WITCH REMAKE soon so in the meantime be sure to keep checking back for updates!
