You may remember hearing about BLOOD NIGHT: THE LEGEND OF MARY HATCHET a while back. The film was self-distributed with a limited edition of DVDs back in late 2009, but many folks missed out on that. The picture will now receive a proper DVD release on June 15 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

You can see the cover art for the flick below. The DVD will include a making-of featurette, interviews with director Frank Sabatella and the cast, and outtakes. Genre favorites Danielle Harris (below, HALLOWEEN) and Bill Moseley (THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) topline the cast. As if that’s not enough, the AITH website actually makes a cameo! Check out the video below.

A local tradition of celebration turns deadly for a group of teenage friends.  While celebrating the anniversary of the death of local student and axe murderer, Mary Hatchet, they find themselves face-to-face with their own mortal reality.  Haunted, the friends run from the bloody rampage, but as the seemingly endless night wears on, they learn that they must expose the truth behind the urban legend of Bloody Mary.
