Blood: the new rating

Just yesterday I showed you a brand new pic from the upcoming anime-adaptation BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE (check it out over HERE), and today it looks like the MPAA has seen the flick and slapped it with a new rating.

It’s a vampire movie about a chick who f*cks up vampires left and right, BLADE-style, so I’ll let you have a wild guess as to what this sucker ended up with. Give up? Well then I’ll tell you… BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE has been rated R for strong bloody stylized violence.

As if it could be rated anything less! But still, it’s nice to see it’s not a vampire killing movie along the lines of BUFFY: THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. I don’t think I could respect it if it ended up with a PG-13 rating. And bloody stylized violence just sounds like a good time to me!
