Slowly but surely, film projects are starting to wend their way back to New Orleans. One project set to start shooting next year is BLOODY NUMBERS, a co-production between New Films Intl and John Woo’s Lion Rock Prods. Sadly Woo will not helm the flick. However Arthur Anderson, Woo’s A/D on flicks like MI:2 and FACE/OFF does get the nod.
The concept goes like this – A woman must come to grips with a strange supernatural gift in order to track down a serial killer who murdered her sister.
It’s scheduled to shoot in the French Quarter, and while the concept sounds like it might be going down the HIDEAWAY route, it’ll certainly be interesting to see what a protege of John Woo does in the genre.
