Bloody Piranha pics!

Over the weekend we were sent a couple of images from the set of the upcoming PIRANHA 3D, which is currently filming in Arizona, and what makes these new set pics stand out from the rest… is that they both feature some bloodied piranha victim in action!

In one, on what appears to be on a family boat, we see the bloody stumps of someone’s legs, with it’s face covered up with a towel. I’m guessing the dad took a dip in the water with disastrous results!

The other image is a later shot of the mom from the first, except this time she’s all bloodied up, and even has bite marks on her arm! Kick ass!

You don’t see set photos like this very often–what a treat! Director Alexandre Aja appears to be true to his word thus far, as this thing is gonna be bloooody! And I can’t flippin’ wait!

Head HERE and HERE for larger versions, and get ready for PIRANHA 3D, starring Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfuss, Dina Meyer, Jessica Szohr, Jerry O’Connell, and Christopher Lloyd, March 19, 2010 in theaters everywhere.

Thanks to Joey Monda for the heads up!
