Boo scares San Diego

Wow, how many times have people used BOO in that context for article names? Ah well…

Looking at the lineup for the San Diego Film Festival (which goes from September 21st-25th, I might add), it would at first seem kind of blah with all the documentaries and dramas populating the screens. That is, except for the fact that BOO has shown up to liven the party, so to speak. The film (a group of college students getting trapped in a haunted hospital on Halloween) scored big thumbs-up in Europe (the film was an official selection at Germany’s Fantasy Filmfest 2005 & UK’s Frightfest 2005), and now director Anthony C. Ferrante is set to unleash the film here in North America.

Screenings for BOO take place on Thursday the 22nd at 10:00:00 PM in the Pacific Gaslamp 15 Theater. Tickets went on sale yesterday and will be on sale until the 25th (click here for ticket info). As an added bonus, Ferrante will be in attendance for the screening, so schmoes in San Diego, get your cameras ready!
