Brahms: The Boy II gets premium VOD release in April

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I liked director William Brent Bell's 2016 film THE BOY, but I didn't make it out to see BRAHMS: THE BOY II when it received a theatrical release at the end of February. Not many people did get to see it on the big screen, because by the time theatres closed it had only made $20 million worldwide.

If you've been wanting to see BRAHMS and don't want to wait around for the May 19th Blu-ray release (which can be pre-ordered HERE), there's some good news: STXfilms and Lakeshore Entertainment have announced that they will be giving the film a VOD release on all premium platforms this Friday, April 3rd. The suggested retail price is $9.99.

Written by THE BOY screenwriter Stacey Menear, BRAHMS: THE BOY II has the following synopsis:

Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into a guest house on the estate where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.

Katie Holmes, Christopher Convery, Owain Yeoman, Ralph Ineson, Anjali Jay, Natalie Moon, and Fabio Williams star.

Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg, Eric Reid, Gary Lucchesi, and Richard Wright produced the sequel alongside Matt Berenson, Jim Wedaa, and Roy Lee.
