The new face of the zombie apocalypse couldn’t be more adorable.
Here’s a new poster for The CW’s latest genre offering, “iZombie”, which comes from the creator of “Veronica Mars” and stars Rose McIver as a brain-munching member of the undead who also solves crimes. The tagline is lame, but the rest is engaging enough; gotta appreciate a chick who classily places her brains in cones.
The synopsis for “iZombie”:
A medical student who becomes a zombie joins a Coroner’s Office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat so that she can maintain her humanity but every brain she eats, she also inherits their memories and must now solve their deaths with help from the Medical examiner and a police detective.
The series, premiering March 17th, stars Rose McIver (“Masters of Sex,” “Once Upon a Time”) as Liv, Malcolm Goodwin (“Breakout Kings”) as Clive Babineaux, newcomer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley (“One Tree Hill”) as Major Lilywhite, and David Anders (“Once Upon a Time,” “The Vampire Diaries”) as Blaine DeBeers.
