Breaking news! Piranha 3DD will be in 3D! Will feature more boobs! More gore!

Who wants more PIRANHA 3DD news? Of course you do. After the announcement that the next sequel of PIRANHA 3D will be PIRANHA 3DD (yawn) there seemed to have been a lack of any other news pertaining to the film.

Bloody-Disgusting found themselves a couple of neat tips as they report that PIRANHA 3DD will be in real 3D. Gary Tunnicliffe, the special effects makeup artist of PIRANHA 3D, also gave a few words regarding the level of intensity the flick will have. He confirms that not only is John Gulager (Director) helming the flick with new 3D technology but there will be gratuitous sex, violence and carnage! Now who doesn’t love that in a movie.

Sounds like they’re going all in. That’s basically the reason why so many moviegoers decided to watch PIRANHA 3D on that August weekend. It was zany fun that exploited boobs, evil fishies and Ving f*cking Rhames. You tell me that’s not a good recipe of fun. Personally, I didn’t have a problem with the ending either. We weren’t expecting an Oscar contender but we were (or at least I was) satisfied knowing that Aja’s job was done.

Tunnilcliffe commented further in their interview surrounding the amount of the red stuff and those dirty pillows. “They’re gonna go for it”, he told BD. “It’s gonna be blood and tits ahoy, certainly…trust me, I think this will leave the first one, in terms of blood and sex, in its wake, from what I’ve already heard.”

What say you, folks? Amp up the carnage? Unbutton more shirts? Extend the vomit projectile scenes? Whatever will happen it sure looks like it’s going to beat every other exploitation movie to the punch that year.
