Today must be child actor news day, as earlier we reported on Dakato Fanning NEW MOON casting news (check it out HERE), and now comes the news from Variety that Abigail Breslin, breakout star of LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, has been cast opposite Woody Harrelson in the zom com ZOMBIELAND for Columbia Pictures.
I’ve been keeping a close eye on ZOMBIELAND since its announcement a while back, mostly because it sounds like a great premise, and I think Harrelson is a cool dude. With Breslin on board, this thing is getting bigger and bigger by the moment!
Breslin will be playing Emma Stone’s sister, the duo are con-artists who cross paths with Harrleson and Jesse Eisenberg after the world has been overrun by zombies. Hmmmm…. should be interesting! Breslin proved she can hold her own in SUNSHINE, so let’s hope she can pull it off in ZOMBIELAND as well!
No release date has been set yet, so the most we can look forward to is more casting news, or maybe a new photo from the set. So stick around, and see which one comes next!
