Brightburn trailer! A horror take on Superman?! You bet!

What if Superman went bad? Taking its cue from the MAN OF STEEL trailer (tone, setting, even similar shots), David Yarovesky's BRIGHTBURN (produced by James Gunn and written by his brothers Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn) seems to be all about answering that question.

The film stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner, Gregory Alan Williams and Leah Goodkind and is set to hit the screens come May 24th, 2019. Personally, color me intrigued! Really like that our baddie super alien will actually be wearing a cape (and a mask it seems). Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
