Brotherhood of Tatum

JoBloJoBlo

I’m not quite sure what to make of Channing Tatum just yet. While his dancing skills are undeniable, that’s doesn’t sufficiently justify his sudden A-listness. Perhaps the upcoming G.I.JOE and PUBLIC ENEMIES will settle the matter.

In the meantime, Tatum is attaching his improbable abdominals to more and more movies, now including THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE ROSE, an adaptation of the novel by David Morrell (FIRST BLOOD).

The story is a cat-and-mouse espionage tale about two orphans raised by a top CIA agent to become assassins. When their operations go awry, they find themselves on the run, caught in a conspiracy and hunted by the most dangerous spies in the world.

The project (clearly Warner Bros. attempt at finding their own Bourne-style spy thriller franchise), is being written and directed by Dito Montiel, who has already done his fair share of Channing wrangling (A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS, FIGHTING, and an in-development parkour action flick).
