Along Came the Devil Jason DeVan

Director Jason DeVan's ALONG CAME THE DEVIL was just released last August and I haven't even gotten around to watching it yet, but eight months later a sequel is already in production. DeVan is back at the helm for ALONG CAME THE DEVIL 2, working from a script he wrote with his wife Heather DeVan (who also co-wrote the first film with him). Bruce Davison is reprising the role of Reverend Michael in the sequel, which has the following synopsis:

After receiving an unsettling voicemail, Jordan returns home looking for answers, only to find her estranged father and even more questions. A demonic force has attached itself to the town and no one is safe. The only one who seems to know anything is the small town’s Reverend.

Davison is joined in the cast by Tiffany Fallon, Laura Wiggins, and Mark Ashworth.

The DeVans are producing ALONG CAME THE DEVIL 2 through their company DeVan Clan. Kenneth C. Dunn and Keith Roush serve as executive producers.

ALONG CAME THE DEVIL 2 is filming in Georgia. Gravitas Ventures will be distributing the movie, and they're aiming for a theatrical and VOD release this fall.

So I still have a few more months to catch up on the first movie.
