A while back, fellow Kane Hodder-wannabe Matt reported on a new maquette based on Bruce the shark from Steven Spielberg’s JAWS. The thing looked so-so in terms of the shark from the film (let alone a shark, period), and the price wasn’t exactly something to have the big ‘O’ over.
Well, Sideshow must have been listening, since they’ve released a couple new pics of the shark, including a look at the redesigned base for the maquette, and lowered the price to $279.95. Ok, so that’s nothing really earth-shattering, but a $279 price tag is a bit better than a $300 price tag, right? And the new base looks kind of neat with the transparent blue plastic replacing the black stand the 20lb maquette was parked on. Meh, it’s at least worth a look here. Expect this fish to swim by the 3rd quarter of this year.
