Bruce Willis returns to space in sci-fi thriller Cosmic Sin

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

It's been a while since star Bruce Willis has traveled in space to kick ass and take names. First he was a former soldier-turned-cab driver Korben Dallas in the awesomely campy FIFTH ELEMENT in 1997, then a year later played a badass roughneck oil driller kicking an asteroid's ass in ARMAGEDDON. Now he's returning to space after an over two decade absence in the upcoming sci-fi horror-thriller COSMIC SIN. Here's the official synopsis:

Willis plays James Ford, one of a group rouge soldiers in a futuristic human society who are fighting to save their race from destruction by a hostile alien species with the power to infect and take over human hosts.

I mean, sure, this sounds like it could be fun. I have a particular soft spot for sci-fi, so if the trailer looks good I'll probably at least give Bruno's new film a chance (he could certainly use a win).

Meanwhile, COSMIC SIN – directed by Corey Large and Edward Drake, and also starring Frank Grillo, Adelaide Kane and Luke Wilson – is currently in post production and has no official release date yet, but is currently looking for international distribution at the Virtual Cannes Market.

So what do you guys think? Excited to see Bruno kick some more ass in space? Either way sound, off below!
