LOVES YOU for a while now here on AITH
(READ OUR REVIEW HERE) and today we got some
somewhat disappointing news in terms of us seeing the film on DVD sooner than
later. And I quote:
Like your favorite pro athlete, “Bryan Loves You” (BLY) is a free agent, ending its brief representation by Shoreline Entertainment who signed on as sales agent last summer, the producers announced today.
“This is a totally amicable split. Not only did we enjoy working with Shoreline, but we are looking to make our next movie ‘Y.A.B.’ with them,” said Landau Motion Pictures spokesman Jeff Buckner of the sales agency and and production company outfit.
Shoreline is one of several parties considering putting “Y.A.B.” into production this year. Written by BLY writer/director Seth Landau, “Y.A.B.” is a horror whose details have been kept under tight wraps.
Regarding the latest rumors to hit BLY, there will be no comment as of now pertaining to an Arizona extremist group who’ve in the past sent indirect threats to the producers, indicating they are not happy about BLY, the true story of a cult that took over an Arizona town in 1993.
BLY stars George Wendt ( Cheers), Tony Todd (“Candyman”),
Tiffany Shepis (“Abominable”) and Daniel Roebuck (“The Fugitive”). The producers believe the same extremist group is behind the latest threats, which are being kept private for now. Said writer/dir Landau, “Just another day in paradise.” BLY producers are in talks with several distributors, and a release sometime this year is planned. Further details to be announced soon.
Hopefully a distributor will pick this baby up and make it available for all
