Here’s a sweet little deal for DOOM fans if you’ve got money to burn and have some empty shelf space in need of some lovin’.
First 4 Figures will be recreating and releasing the signature weapon, the BFG, featured in the film for fans to grab early next year. Pre-orders for the 12″ long mini replica began on October 15. The gun is the first in a series of DOOM mini replica weapons by First 4 Figures, and will be limited to 1,500 pieces and priced at $79.99. Included is a display stand and a F4F authenticity card which will allow you to pre-order the same number for the entire series.
Fans of the games have always debated what the letters in the gun’s name stand for. Some say they stand for Big Freakin’ Gun, Big Friggin’ Gun, Big Fraggin’ Gun, or my personal fave, Big F**kin’ Gun. In this case, the gun’s letters stand for Bio Force Gun, which makes no sense, but hey, I’m not in the marketing department over there.
