I (once again) had quite
the hoot at this years Cannes! I got to see some really good films
(JCVD and THE EXCHANGE were my favorites), got to hook up with old friends,
made new ones (I love meeting new people), relished in the awe inspiring scenery, almost got to
hook up with one of my
idols (Jean Claude Van Damme… hey I saw him twice though, and even watched
JCVD with him in the room) and got to attend
all kinds of nifty parties!
Looking back, the event that sticks in my head is the INDIANA
JONES red carpet outside the Palais. I’ve never seen so many people all gathered
at one spot and I can still hear the singing of "Harrison" ringing in my hear as
I type this. Overall, consider me one happy man right now! Hopefully
the high will stay with me for at least 2 more days, until "back to normal life"
sets in : ) So in closing
here is a retrospect of what I pulled off in Cannes on this round! Thanks to
Mike Sampson and Joblo for their online support and to Deke Richards for his "on
location" work. Quiet on set!
Sound rolling! Camera rolling!
ACTION!
