Can you solve the deadly mystery of the Escape Room trailer and survive?

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Have you ever been to an escape room location? I've explored at least three different venues for the now-popular thinker's group activity, and every time I've had an absolute blast. The setup for the game is quite simple, depending on where you go. Upon selecting the members of your team, you and your friends-in-arms are locked in a series of rooms (or one, depending on the venue) and are given one hour to escape. Each room is filled with a series of puzzles that will aid you in your escape. Some escape rooms are better than others, obviously, though if you happen to discover one that's well-orchestrated, it can be a hell of a lot of fun!

In ESCAPE ROOM, Tyler's girlfriend, Christen, has gotten him an unusual gift for his 30th birthday: admission to a mysterious escape room event. As they enter with four friends, they find themselves trapped in bizarre rooms where they must solve tricky puzzles in order to advance. But Christen has disappeared, and Tyler is shocked to see her on a video monitor, naked and trapped in a cage while the seconds count down. When the cruel game begins to turn deadly, he realizes they may not all escape with their lives. The claustrophobic thriller stars Evan Williams, Annabelle Stephenson, and Billy Flynn.

ESCAPE ROOM will be coming to DVD, Digital HD and On-Demand as of October 17, 2017. The DVD copy of the movie will include a director's commentary, deleted scenes, and bloopers.
