While production officially began back in February, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NOT TALES had to take a brief hiatus when Johnny Depp injured his hand. Now, Depp is back on set and filming has resumed on the fifth entry in Disney’s swashbuckling franchise.
To put fans at ease, producer Jerry Bruckheimer has tweeted the first official photo from the set of the film. Check it out.

While I tuned out after the last two films, I will remain cautious until I see some footage of this movie. Johnny Depp looks older in the photo which could be due to lighting or maybe they are trying something a little different with the character this time around.
