Huge casting news here, people: Cassie Scerbo is returning to the SHARKNADO franchise. I know, your mind is blown. Cassie was in the first film but sat out the second; obviously, she couldn’t stay away very long, and the citizens of the world are eternally grateful.

Scerbo joins Ian Ziering and Tara Reid in SHARKNADO 3, which is helmed by Anthony C. Ferrente and written by Thunder Levin. These folks have been with SHARKNADO since day one.

When a mass of sharknadoes threatens Florida, chainsaw-wielding hero Fin must again risk his life to save his children on spring break. But as he fights his way south, the sharknadoes merge and grow bigger than ever before.

Syfy will air SHARKNADO 3 this summer.
