Castle Rock 2 adds Robin Weigert, Sarah Gadon, Greg Grunberg & Alison Wright

Hulu, J.J. Abrams, and Stephen King's psychological horror series CASTLE ROCK has just set some guest stars for the upcoming second season. These actors include Robin Weigert, Sarah Gadon, Alison Wright, and Greg Grunberg. Weigert will play Annie’s mother, Crysilda Wilkes, and Gadon will play Rita Green, a vengeful woman from Annie’s past. From there, Wright will play a kind-hearted local who explores the town’s evil history, and Grunberg is Sheriff Boucher, a local official, who faces off against a brewing, dark force in Castle Rock.

Lizzy Caplan will be playing the role of young Annie Wilkes along with Tim Robbins as Reginald “Pop” Merrill, Paul Sparks as John “Ace” Merril, Elsie Fisher as Annie’s home-schooled teenage daughter, Joy, Yusra Warsam is Dr. Nadia Omar, Barkhad Abdi will portray Abdi Omar, Matthew Alan plays Chris Merrill, and John Hoogenakker will play a man with a complicated connection to MISERY's Annie Wilkes.

Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason continue to serve as executive producers along with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, Vince Calandra, Stephen King, and Liz Glotzer. The show hails from Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. We'll let you know when we hear more!
