The everlasting saga of CATACOMBS has now come to a close. Questions debating WHEN and IF it’ll be hitting theaters, or go straight to DVD have now been answered… and it looks like CATACOMBS will be making it’s premiere through neither of those two venues. So what else is left? How’s about some Video On Demand???
Courtesy of FEARnet On Demand, CATACOMBS will be making it’s debut on TV, uncut and commercial free. So if you have Comcast, and dig yourself some On Demand horror, then this should be some pretty big news for you. If not, you suck. Just kidding. You don’t suck. But you will have to wait for awhile, as it’s not looking to hit DVD until early 2008.
So when’s the big debut? Starting October 1st, through the whole month of October, CATACOMBS will be available On Demand, so you can watch it any flippin’ time you want it. If you don’t have FEARnet, and you don’t wanna wait until DVD, there’s one more option for ya: after Halloween, it’ll be available online over at Fearnet.com – see, there IS hope!
Seeing as I have FEARnet On Demand (which is awesome, by the way, as not only are there lots of genre movies available all the time, they have quite the HD selection as well…), I should be stoked… but, to tell you the truth, I’m kinda bummed for CATACOMBS. It looked like it had so much theatrical potential, and now… straight to TV On Demand. Oh well, I suppose it’s better than no release at all.
