Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-Hun Lee join the cast of Red 2

Ready for RED 2? Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-Hun Lee are.

The two have joined the cast of the sequel, which has been greenlit. Dean Parisot (GALAXY QUEST) is stepping in for Robert Schwentke to take on helming duties. Erich and Jon Hoeber returned to write the script.

What is the second installment all about? The original team of CIA operatives, “use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe.” Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker and Helen Mirren will be back on board.

Catherine and her ever lasting hottness will fit well here. Not to mention, I’m happy that Storm Shadow aka Byung-hun Lee was cast. He will be seen next in G.I. JOE: RETALIATION alongside Willis and was awesome in I SAW THE DEVIL.

RED 2 is set to release August 2, 2013.
