I still feel the name Brewster should have been retired after Richard Pryor’s seminal classic BREWSTER’S MILLIONS. But if it has to stay in circulation it might as well be in service of petite cutey Jordana Brewster. And on top of that she might as well get involved with some more genre work (she had an excellent turn in THE FACULTY).
Now to give credit where credit is due, some of our fellow genre sites got wind of this news last week, though perhaps with a little hyperbole. While some claimed that Ms. Brewster had been cast as the lead in the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE prequel, it appears that in actuality she is still in negotiations for the role. Neither here nor there really if she gets it, and there’s no reason to believe she wouldn’t. Young, cute, talented and looks good dirty. I think that about covers the requirements.
Anyway, we’ll keep you updated as more news comes down the pike, or if hotter pics of Brewster pop up on the net.
