Director Jake Kasdan reeled me in with ORANGE COUNTY and WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY so naturally I’d wanted to see whatever he signs on for. SEX TAPE is his latest directorial effort which boasts a cast including Jason Segel, Cameron Diaz, Rob Lowe, Ellie Kemper, and Rob Corddry. The first trailer will drop during the series finale of Segel’s HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, but the red band hit the internet first. So does it deliver the laughs? I figured for a red band trailer it might be a little more funny especially considering the subject matter, but I still liked it.

Synopsis:
When Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) first got together, their romantic connection was intense – but ten years and two kids later, the flame of their love needs a spark. To kick things up a notch, they decide – why not? – to make a video of themselves trying out every position in The Joy of Sex in one marathon three-hour session. It seems like a great idea – until they discover that their most private video is no longer private.
